3rd Group Walk North Lake Whatcom Hertz Trail

This is a group walk with all dogs on leash. PLEASE bring water and poop bags, and plenty of treats for your pup. I will have extra water in my Suburban if need some. We all have had a great time meeting new dog people and walking together. This group walk will also be able to count to your FIT titles if yo9u are working towards your titles. Sandy will have everyone sign in, then check off when you return. So we know you all made it back. I think this train may need to have people carry Bear spray with them.

  • More Info:From Alabama turn left onto Northshore Drive and follow it around the head of the lake and down the eastern shore, staying on Northshore Road at all forks, until arriving at a fork where both branches are for Northshore Road. Take the left branch and cross Smith Creek. Just past Smith Creek, arrive at the parking lot and the tailhead. Park at Parking lot 2 which is bigger.
