Description

Class schedule is as follows:

  • August 23, 30, Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27, Oct. 4, 11, 2025

First day of class:

  • Bring either cash, check or Venmo(Sorry no credit cards at this time).
  • Bring a 6-foot leash, harness with handle on the back, and soft treats for training.
  • First class will be at the training center. Subsequent classes will be held either at training center or local parks.

Parkour is a physical discipline in which individuals move through their environment and conquer obstacles within their path. This includes climbing, balancing, jumping, running, vaulting, creativity and working past fear. So what is dog parkour? 

Dog parkour, sometimes known as urban agility, is an activity based on the same principles. It is a challenging, but fun, physical activity in which the dogs learn to interact with their environment.  Dog parkour is worked on ways to conquer obstacles, such as climbing, balancing, and jumping, helps to build confidence, develop strength and fitness, boost focus and engagement with helping the energetic outlet for your dog.  Dog Parkour is a non competitive event.

This class is level 1 and 2.  You will be able to get a training and or Novice title. Novice and higher titles are for dogs 18 months and older.

Older and physically challenged dogs may also participate and can have 1 obstacle modification and exception per title. 

No prong collars, choke/slip collars, shock collars, slip leads, head harness, bandanas or collar covers allowed.

Training center  elevation is 1500 feet.  If snow has created hazardous conditions, you will be notified of class cancellation and session will be extended.
